I’m a Visual Storyteller who enjoys to crochet on my spare time. I’ve been crocheting on and off for about 9 years. I usually make scarves (and when I first started, I made lots of goofy doilies). I want to expand my knowledge of crochet and learn to make other projects, as well as learn how to knit. I inherited tons of needles, I just don’t know how to do it.
December 2009, I went through surgery. I used my recovery time crocheting something new almost everyday!!!
About my Crocheting career..
From my aunt, I learned to crochet at a young age. I started
seriously crocheting at around 2001, making lots and lots of scarves. When 2009 came rolling along, I was involved in an arts festival. I decided to make crochet projects, and stumbled upon AMIGURUMI!!!
Not to mention YARN BOMBING, which is also another genre of fiber arts I love to do. I've participated in the following shows:
Forest, for the Trees at Craft And Folk Art Museum in Los Angeles, CA. This is a traveling exhibit that started in Highland Park, CA at Future Studio, and has also been featured at the Orange County Faire in Southern California.
Have Yarn, Will Travel part of MOCA's
Art In the Streets exhibit in Los Angeles, CA (August 2011)

Fig Knit-On in Highland Park, CA (Sept 2010). I'm the one who created the 'magazine stand cozy'. That news article has a picture of me there with my husband just as we finished setting up!
